Product Standards
Product Standards
Purpose
These standards apply to products offered through Vistating and to partners that submit products or fulfillment proposals. They protect customers, support accurate listings, and help meet legal and operational requirements in each destination market.
Authenticity and intellectual property
Counterfeit, unauthorized, misleading, or brand-confusing products are not accepted. Product names, logos, images, packaging, and claims must not infringe third-party rights. Vistating may request authorization or ownership evidence and may suspend or remove content when risk is identified.
Safety and compliance
Products must comply with applicable safety, labeling, ingredient, age, warning, certification, and restricted-product rules for the markets where they are offered. Unsupported medical, cosmetic, environmental, performance, or safety claims are not permitted.
Product information
Titles, specifications, materials, dimensions, compatibility, ingredients, use instructions, warnings, included items, and warranty information must be accurate and complete. Important limitations or variations must be disclosed before purchase.
Images and media
Images must clearly show the actual product and must not contain unrelated watermarks, marketplace traces, misleading edits, unauthorized logos, unsafe claims, or text that conflicts with the listing language. Vistating may crop, clean, or reject media that does not meet storefront standards.
Category-specific care
Home and living products must disclose size, material, assembly, electrical, and care requirements where relevant. Pet products must include suitable species, size, ingredients, use, and safety warnings. Beauty and cosmetics products must provide accurate ingredients, volume, use, warnings, shelf-life or expiry information where required, and must not make unsupported health claims.
Fulfillment quality
Products must have reliable inventory, protective packaging, trackable delivery, and a workable process for damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing items. Local-warehouse availability and delivery estimates must be represented accurately.
Monitoring and enforcement
Vistating may review, edit, pause, reject, or remove a product before or after publication when information is incomplete, customer risk is identified, complaints arise, or legal or operational requirements are not met.
